Calculators in specialized fields — finance, health, physics, chemistry, construction — are reviewed by contributors with relevant academic or professional backgrounds. Reviewers verify formulas, units, edge cases, and the wording of any guidance shown to users.

Each tool is tested against known examples and reference results before it ships. We run automated checks on the math, validate input ranges, and flag impossible or unsafe combinations. If a calculator can produce a misleading result outside a normal range, we say so in the tool itself.

Standards, tax rates, conversion factors, and best practices change. We periodically review every calculator and update both the formulas and the explanatory content. The "Last updated" date on each calculator reflects the most recent substantive review.
